EMBARK is kicking off its summer bi-annual Half-Price Transit Pass Sale on all fixed-route bus, RAPID NW and Oklahoma River Cruises passes purchased from July 1 to 8.
This year, EMBARK expanded the sale to include Oklahoma River Cruises, offering residents a chance to experience the river as both a transit option and as a unique local attraction. Recently, Oklahoma River Cruises opened a new landing, the FAM Landing, providing residents and visitors with access to both the First Americans Museum and OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark along the Oklahoma River.
“Our summer Half-Price Sale now offers Oklahoma City residents and visitors great savings on a popular warm-weather attraction they can use right away or later in the season,” said Jesse Rush, Director of EMBARK. “Oklahoma River Cruises offers a great way to explore Oklahoma City from a different perspective, and with the recent addition of the FAM landing, there’s even more to enjoy along the Oklahoma River. We hope that people who haven’t tried Oklahoma River Cruises will take advantage of the lower cost to try it out.”
Rush added that the transit passes purchased during the Half-Price Sale can be activated at any time and never expire, offering residents flexibility when planning their daily transportation or a special outing with out-of-town guests.
“Many residents regularly use public transportation for work, appointments and other daily needs, but some may use transit services less frequently for special events or activities,” he said. “Our summer Half-Price Sale is designed to help residents, business owners and service providers save money while accessing reliable, sustainable public transportation.”
Half-price passes can be purchased through the Token Transit mobile app. Fixed-route bus and RAPID NW passes also can be purchased in person at EMBARK’s downtown Transit Center, located at 420 NW 5th St. The Transit Center is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. For Oklahoma River Cruises, passes can be purchased in person at the Regatta Park Landing, 701 S. Lincoln Blvd.

Half-price fares also apply to reduced-fare rates for seniors (65+), Medicare recipients, and individuals with qualifying disabilities. Youth 18 and under ride free on buses through the Haul Pass Program, and children six and under ride free on Oklahoma River Cruises.
The Half-Price Transit Pass Sale is also open to community agencies and nonprofits that support transportation for those in need. Organizations can increase their impact by purchasing bulk orders of 50 or more passes online through July 20. These savings help stretch budgets and improve outreach efforts. To qualify for the discounted rate, bulk pass orders must be placed during the sale period.
